A peacock rests on top of a parked delivery van on a Phnom Penh street on Wednesday as a man drives past on a motorcycle. According to residents, the peacock is a pet that escaped from its owner.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature classifies Cambodian peacocks as endangered and with a rapidly declining population due to diminishing forest and hunting.
